TVARC, Inc

Mission Statement: The purpose of this club is to further the exchange of information and the cooperation between members, to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency and to so conduct club programs and activities as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community.

Since being organized in the summer of 2005 TVARC, Inc. has consistently grown in membership and activities. Currently the club owns 2 repeaters: 145.430- 100PL, located east of Eureka on Sam’s Hill and 147.340+ 100PL located on Pinkham Mountain. Other frequencies available for use locally, including at least one in Canada. See the Repeaters page for a list.
Recently, TVARC, Inc. assisted a national Model T tour based out of Whitefish. TVARC, Inc. supplied radio coverage for the touring Model T’s while they were in our area.
TVARC, Inc. participated in Field Day. Field Day is an annual worldwide emergency preparedness exercise to test our emergency communications skills and demonstrated these capabilities to the community.
TVARC, Inc. entered an educational display at the county fair, which was awarded top honors. The TVARC, Inc. website (which is in the process of being updated) can be found at tvarc.org.
The Club’s goals for 2011 are to link the 145.430 Eureka repeater to the 147.340 Pinkham repeater, and upgrade this repeater to provide an active link to the Flathead repeaters.
